DIY Flowers of all Kinds

I have had a lot of questions as too where I found the tutorials I used for Charlotte’s Pink Flower Party, so I decided to post a “compilation” of links to the tutorials I used! Some of them I added my own twist too, so I will make note of those.

1) Charlotte’s Crepe Paper Kissing Ball

Instead of glue, I just used pearl pins and it is still holding strong!

2) Rolled Paper Flower (attached to 3″ Party Circle)

I used my coordinating printable pattern paper to create these, printing the floral pattern on one and the yellow pattern on the other!

3) No Sew Fluffy Flower (at the Top of the rosettes)

I used fabric glue instead of a glue gun, so I had less scorched fingers, but drying time was longer

4) No Sew Fabric Rosettes

Again, I used fabric glue and loved the look…I felt like I could smear the glue all over without “glue gun threads”. Since “neatness” isn’t always my thing…this way the best solution for me! You will just need to place them somewhere to dry for a few hours.

5) Cupcake Liner Flowers

Instead of floral wire, I found wooden “floral stems” with a little floral wire at the top. I used these and loved the thickness and hardness of them.

6) Waffle Flowers

The Sweet Jess of Pen & Paperflowers created a tutorial for you all on these! See Here!

7) Crepe Paper Rolled Flowers

This is probably the least expensive and quickest of ALL the flowers I made!!!! One roll of Crepe paper made the kissing ball and left quite a bit over, and I decided to create these. There wasn’t a tutorial for these, so here are my instructions –

You need

1) A Roll of Crepe Paper

2) Floral stems

3) Floral Tape

I started with the floral stems. Mine had attached floral wire, which I rolled to keep the flower from sliding off the top – as done in the Cupcake Liner Tutorial Here. Next, I created the crepe paper flowers like the ones from the Kissing Ball Here, only I created them by wrapping them tightly around the floral stem instead of itself.  I twisted and rolled until I had the size flower I wanted, and finished it off by wrapping the base in floral tape and continuing to wrap the tape around the stem, like in the Cupcake Liner Tutorial.

I hope you enjoyed these flower tutorials and can use them to dress up your home or next party!!
