This little man and his Monster Trucks

Posted on Monday, December 3rd, 2012

I can not believe how fast this year has flown by! I swear each year keeps getting faster than the one before!! My little guy is turning three on Saturday and just thinking of it makes my eyes well up! While I am thrilled to see him turning into such a funny, smart, and sweet little boy…I miss having him as a “baby”. ┬áIt’s funny in a way…as this birthday has been getting closer…my independent little man has become a little clingy to mommy and I have to admit, I don’t mind at all! I have been getting and giving my fair share of snuggles and giggles and even though he isn’t “a baby”, it’s obvious we both need to know he will always be “my baby”.

For his party, he requested Monster Trucks after seeing me work on this invite for my friend Amy’s little man of Buggie & Jellybean {See her little guys party here}. When he saw it on my screen, he freaked out saying “MY MONSTA TWUCK PAATY” and never changed his mind! He has been keeping me laughing since the conception of this party…even telling me that he had to invite “his boys” from school. Yes…my two year old has “boys”. He is a riot!

Here is the invite I created for him (a little change here and there from the one done for Amy, but close).

I hope you all have a fantastic week! Make sure you check back tomorrow as I am going to be launching a GIVEAWAY for a Cricut Mini!!

The pic and invite are priceless!! Nolan has already planned his next party – Ninja Turtles – I told him I didn’t think Miss Kori would have an invite to fit that theme. We have 10 months to change his mind!
