Pop Of Color with Wayfair and $100 Giveaway

Pop Of Color Patio 1

I mentioned a few posts ago about my intentions for this blog and the little changes you will see here and there. One of the most excited things I am adding are some lifestyle posts! After designing and building our dream home last year, I was so excited to start sharing it that I posted photos of the kitchen before we even moved in (SEE HERE). Now that we are mostly settled…I can actually start designing rooms and decorating for our lifestyle. We have 2 kids and 2 dogs, so we have to maintain a sense of laid back around here, but at the same time, I want our home to feel finished, loved, and a reflection of who we are.

I have partnered with Wayfair as one of their “Homemakers” to share posts about our living and entertaining space.  Wayfair has supplied me with some product to add that pop of color into our entertaining, but the content and opinions in this post are mine.

For my first “moved in” post, I am sharing some of my patio and the recent improvements I made with the help of the Pop Of Color Campaign for Wayfair! PS At the bottom of this post is a $100 giveaway for you to do the same!!! WOO HOO!

Our back patio (and yard) is one of my most favorite places at our new home. My husband built us a wonderful pool and the yard is full of space for running kids and pups…put the patio seemed a little dull. This space is one we plan to do a lot of entertaining, and it has some work that needs done, but that’s no reason that we can start using this amazing space now!

(The Before Picture)

We have this table that we love and adore, and we found chairs and cushions to pair with it. It seats 8 comfortably, so we have already shared quite a few meals out here. Our plans for the future include an outdoor kitchen in front of the half wall to the right…but why wait until then to make the space a little more lively!?!

When I was invited to join the Pop Of Color campaign, I knew right away which space I would work on! The premise of Wayfair’s campaign was to add a pop of color to a space in your home for $100.  I knew I planned to add blue into the space. We used a beautiful royal blue style tile around the pool and I wanted to carry that through the outdoor living space. The first thing I looked at was an outdoor rug like this one.

I love the idea of adding a rug to the space, and I probably will add one at some point, but it would have eaten up my whole budget…so I kept shopping.  When I saw this article on the Wayfair blog, I was hooked…it’s like it was written as a step by step for me! What I wanted with this space is an easy entertaining space. Somewhere that is effortless and comfy if someone just stops by. I have tons of entertaining party ware, glasses, and serving pieces, so I focused on the links over to the decor items. I kind of have a pillow fetish and so I knew I wanted some throw pillows to dress up the space and add color. I feel like throw pillows are the fancy accessories to any outfit. Outdoor pillows are super durable which is perfect for a space overrun by wet kids and muddy paw prints. Here are a few of my favorite outdoor pillows I had my eye on…

Pillows

I decided to do these blue pillows for sure as you got two pillows for under $30! I also found myself craving the coral colored crab pillow, and even though it cost more…it is made with Sunbrella Fabric, which I know is built to last!

Notice that a few of my helpers got into this shot…

Next, to add in a few more little pops of color to polish the space a bit… a coral table runner  made of burlap…Pop Of Color Patio 5…and a beautiful table lantern that we filled with Citronella oil to keep those pesky bugs away in the evening.

That’s it! 3 Pillows, a runner, and lantern made our boring space start to take on life! While I still am eager to add some plants and artwork here, I can finally feel like we are getting ready for summer, friends, and entertaining! A big Thank You to Wayfair for helping me to transform my space… AND they want to do the same for you!!! YAY!

  5. Although, might have to save up before I bought loungers. Would probably get some accessories first.

  6. I noticed your site’s ranking in google’s search results is very low.
You are loosing a lot of traffic. You need high authority backlinks to rank in top 10.
I know – buying them is too expensive. It is better to own them.

I know how to do that, just google it:
