Starting with a Mother’s Day Card, of course! I hand lettered some of my favorite Mother’s Day sayings and then turned them into graphics. I then used those graphics for some special designs! I created this simple and sweet 5″x5″ rounded corner card by simply printing the design from Design Space onto #11o white card stock, and then feeding it into the Cricut and it cut the card with the cute rounded corners! A 5″ x 5″ kraft envelope finished up the card, and I was ready to move on to a few gifts!

Is anyone else’s mom a reader? Mine it!! She now has a Kindle for when she is on the go, but she is the first to tell you that she loves a REAL book, with pages she can turn and appreciate. I thought, how fun would it be to make some quote bookmarks! Again, it’s a 5 minute project, simply print, then cut! The Cricut cuts the nice little holes at the top, so I used bakers twine and looped it through to fancy mine up! You could also laminate them, or let the kids color the backs!

Finally a little something for the gardener… thought really you could use this for anything from a pot to a coffee mug, to a tee shirt design, because this design isn’t a print and cut… it’s an Full Hands = Full Heart SVG file!! I cut mine out of gold vinyl to make this customized flower pot, but you really could stick it anywhere! As we rush through a very busy month, I remember this saying often… and it’s so very true – ” Full Hands = Full Heart”

Now go get to making Mom something special!
