When I saw these photos sent to me by Allison, who has the blog Hoot, of the {Real Party} she held for her son Riley, I almost fell over! Nevermind the fact that I just ADORE the circus and carnival themed parties we see, and especially ones with a vintage spin…..this party is so full of amazing details and creative thinking that I couldn’t wait to share! I loved working with her on her party designs and was so honored she shared the photos with me once the party was over!
Allison came up with ALL KINDS of amazing details!! Some of my favorites – the monkeys from “Barrel full of Monkeys” that were hanging around the party adding a fun and vintage vibe {check them out with the cotton candy}, the cotton candy in cupcake liners on a cupcake stand, the lollipops coming out of POPCORN {seriously, that just screams carnival}, and the homemade mustache lollipops! Since Allison obviously knows detail, how cute is her place card idea – the place card holders are clown noses sitting in mini cupcake wrappers!
Now, the best for last….I love MINI SWEETS, so how about MINI CANDIED APPLES! The “mini” candied apples are made by using a melon baller on an apple and dipping into candy coating!
How sweet is the birthday boy enjoying playing in the Green Bus that came during the party…and what is a party without a photo booth…and of course, what is a photobooth if you can’t get the grandparents in on the fun! I love these shots of the family enjoying a VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY!
Thank you, Allison for sharing!

What super cute party!!! Love the printable you created..great job : )
You are so right…the attention to detail is amazing! Love how little toys are incorporated into the scene. Obviously styled with a lot of love. Hats off to Allison!
Loving all the happy colors in this party and especially the printables! The chocolate mustaches are a great, fun idea!
Kori, I just *love* this party, and your printables yet again are PERFECTION! Wow, what darling details!!! I did a tutorial last October on creating mini chocolate and caramel dipped apples (use a melon baller for the apple and dip) on Design Dazzle, it was a bit hit! So fun to see someone else thought of this too and did it for a party! The monkeys hanging on the cupcake holder are one of my favorite details, and how about the birthday boy! OH MY GOSH! Darling.
Kate, HOW DID I MISS THAT! I am definitely doing it this fall with my little ones! I love it!!
