I was so excited to work on this design for a customer! My kids love Olivia, so I knew just how to use red bows and stripes on the design to give away who it was without having a character on it! When I was sent the party pics I was so excited to see how everything turned out…talk about an amazing job!!
Here are the details told by Stacy –
“For Emma’s 3rd birthday, I wanted to incorporate her favorite book and tv show – OLIVIA…so we went with an Olivia “inspired” party. The invitation, using red and black of course, invited all using one of her Rules of Life. The first book has Olivia admiring her favorite painting and then trying it on her own…Emma’s favorite part. So we decided to have an art theme at the party for the kids, who ranged from 6 months to 9 years old – a tough crowd!
The kids art area had crayons with some coloring sheets printed from the nick jr site, some canvas for painting with washable markers and then some homemade play doh and shape cutters that all of the kids used.
Since we had an art theme, the party favor was a red (of course) personalized apron and their own tub of the homemade red glitter playdoh.
For decor, I made a ribbon garland using 1.5″ strips of various fabric, pom poms made out of cupcake liners on candlesticks for centerpieces and the printables with more “rules” around the house. “
