My baby turned one…it was inevitable, though I may still be in denial. If you missed how I felt about this…see his birthday post here.
When it came to planning his birthday party, I went back and forth A LOT. I had ideas for more of a big boy party, or more of a 1st birthday only party….and in the end I decided I would pick something traditional, sweet, and something he L.O.V.E.S. Balloons!! I wanted to make sure I didn’t go with the normal “balloon” party items that can be a little….ummm…..cheesy, and I wanted it to be more sweet and soft than the fun “UP” style balloons. While playing more and more with the graphics, I came across a pair of ticking striped pants and realized that would be the perfect pattern to add sweetness and tradition. So, ticking stripes, a silver, white, and soft blue color palette, and big perfectly round balloons combined to create this invitation for his party. The invite has been the inspiration for everything else and I CAN’T wait to see it come together this weekend!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I love this Kori!
These are precious! It is so much fun to start celebrating their little birthdays!
I love the way your invite poem blends with the graphics. You are quite a talent! 🙂
Gorgeous as always!
Beautifully done, my dear Kori. I hope dear Holden has a great day and so do all your guests.
LOVE…LOVE…LOVE this. I love that you went with the french ticking and stuck with the balloon idea. I absolutely LOVE the color combination too…the bottom picture makes the color palette look like vintage blue/green with an ivory color – and that is gorgeous too!!! This will be so easy to customize in your shoppe too! Beautiful Kori! LOVE it!!
In love withe the design, the color scheme, and the theme! Looking forward to more…
