I always get so excited when Amy from Buggie & Jellybean tells me one of her little ones has chosen their birthday theme! Amy is such a fun creative mom, and her kids follow in those creative and fun footsteps! After a trip to Mexico, her daughter decided she would love to have a Birthday Fiesta…and my favorite part…they wanted to use her daughter’s hand stitched dress for the inspiration! I couldn’t wait to get started!!
We began with the invite of course, and then carried the design through the other printable items! (You can purchase the artwork to create your own fiesta party HERE)
Once she started putting her creative spin on the party (including texting me pictures of her fun finds and the AMAZING “piñata A” and paper flowers she handmade to hang behind the cake table) I just KNEW it was going to be totally amazing, and I am pretty sure I was 100% right!
Amy made almost everything you see for decoration, found it around her home (like the beautiful blanket used as a tablecloth), or hit up the dollar bins with some amazing finds (hello cute “taco holders”, perfect favor bags, and mini piñatas)! I am so excited she is letting me share her daughter’s party today!
At the door is a decorated table, to greet you as you entered and hold the favor bags for when it’s time to say “adios”!
Amy created a stunning table design by crafting large paper flowers, a muslin backdrop with yarn floral patterns and a handmade “A” piñata to adorn the middle! The tablecloth was something Amy brought back from Mexico and had on her bed until she realized that it matched perfectly!
Here is the birthday girl in her inspiration dress in front of her birthday cake and table! Now for the pretty details… Get ready to swoon!
How cute are the “fruit drink” cupcakes?
OK, the taco cookies have taken over a special place in my heart! I just adore them! Amy put a soft sugar cookie on the bottom, sprinkled with brownie, whipped cream, orange and yellow sprinkles, red M&Ms, and green Twizzlers! Adorable, right?
The mini ruffle cake for the special 7 year old! I love how Amy used the blue dish for a cake plate!!
And you know there had to be a taco bar! How stunning is that pitcher?
Of course a fiesta must have a piñata! Love this photo Amy got of the birthday girl!
They also had an amazing face painter who painted all of the kids faces…and some adults too!
I am so lucky to have this sweet momma as a friend and inspiration! You can find her on Instagram and on her blog Buggie & Jellybean!
Thanks for letting me share this sweet celebration, Amy!
Or shall I say, muchas gracias!
So cute!! LOVE the backdrop!
What great bright colors–love those paper flowers too!
