Can it be….almost 2012?

I posted on Facebook a few days ago about the closing of 2011 and how I can’t help but feel a little sadness at the end of a wonderful year…and like usual, a few posts by friends and family reminded me that as amazing as this past year has been, there is another one around the corner full of excitement and possibility! Those of you who know me personally know how very emotional I am, and almost every New Years Eve when the ball drops….I cry. Not because I am sad…but because looking back over the year I realize that through all of the ups and downs, I am truly blessed. I cry because every tiny moment comes rushing over me and I think about washing my babies hair, holding my husbands hand, little lips blowing out birthday candles, creative and beyond sweet clients, thoughtful comments, and kind glances from total strangers during a toddler meltdown. These are the moments I am grateful for year after year. These are the moments that make the world spin around and I don’t ever want to take a single one for granted…..

I was going to post about my plans for 2012…but I think I will keep that until Monday. Today I just want to say Thank You to those who have made a kind comment, a sweet and encouraging glance, and sent a thoughtful email…. I do this out of love, but I wouldn’t do be here if it wasn’t for you.
