So, prepare yourself for a serious dachshund overload with this post and don’t say I didn’t warn you!
I have always been an animal lover and it’s one of the things that originally brought together myself and the Mr. I loved how much he cared for his dog, and we both were a little obsessed with our big old sweet pups when we met. Flash forward many years and we had our first child, then our second. We loved the kids and dogs being family and watching them play and snuggle. When my little guy started 5 day a week Pre-Kinder, I missed having a baby at home, so we brought a puppy into our family. Less than a year later we brought home a second puppy… both dachshunds. Having always had bigger dogs, I wasn’t sure about this little dog thing, but it didn’t take long for me to fall in love with the “small but mighty” breed.
Since bringing the two doxies home, I kind of became at the doxie lady. Friends post dachshund videos to my Facebook, text me Dachshund jokes, and last christmas a sweet neighbor bought me a dancing dachshund that plays Christmas music. I will own it though, I am a bit obsessed, but luckily I am not alone! Whether you are crazy about dachshunds, bulldogs, pugs, or bostons there are things that will be perfect for you this holiday! When I want something a little “specific” I try to check Zazzle first. You all know I am an affiliate with my own shop HERE, but I don’t always have the time to design things I want to order. Y’all! So cute! I love presentation and wrapping papers and gift containers are my favorite! Along with the dachshund fair isle style paper, I got a wide grosgrain ribbon that’s printed like a burlap. They are so cute together!
Oh and what about the gift of wine? Yep… Covered there too!
I love the wine bag idea (Seen HERE) , as it’s like a gift in a gift! The recipient can use it to carry bottles to friends or sit on the counter!
PS If anyone wants to know whats on my list… It’s wine… in a dachshund bag. FYI.
Now onto some gifts… for your pets. My dogs actually love opening presents. I don’t know if it’s the paper shredding that is so fun or the hope of treats inside, but they love it! This year I am giving them customized collars with matching leashes! SEEN HERE
