Snowman Soup {FREE Holiday Printable}

In case you haven’t heard of “Snowman Soup”, it’s another {super cute} name for Hot Chocolate. I made little Hot Chocolate favors for our Snowman Soup Party Shoot, but these are also super cute little gifts for friends and neighbors!

There are two ways to make/package these with the free printables (and I am sure you can come up with many more cute packaging ideas….)

First is the small mason jars. They are just cute. Period. Perhaps it’s the memories of mason jars all over my grandmother’s house in the country…or the fact that Mason is my middle name (and grandparent’s last name), but these jars will always have a place in my heart regardless of trends!

These are Easy….scoop in a few heaping spoonfuls (more to make 2/3 cups of hot cocoa) into the jar, then top with chocolate chips, and finally marshmallows) Screw on the lid and print out a sheet of the long snowman soup labels on full label paper. I cut them apart and then cut down the middle to separate the area of wording from the picture. Finally, I used a 2″ circle punch to punch out the snowman hot chocolate design and put it on the lid, and stuck the “instructions” on the side! If you are bringing this to a family, perhaps do 3 different jars with varied flavors so they can have their own Hot Chocolate Bar!

Next up are these cute little kraft boxes! I got these adorable boxes from Pretty Little Party Shop and filled each one with little bags of varied flavors of Hot Chocolate, marshmallows, and chocolate chips!

Wrap each little baggie with red bakers twine, place them in the box, and close it up! Print out the large square labels on full label paper and cut them apart (I also trimmed the top so that the graphic side was thinner) wrap it over the side and tie up with bakers twine!

    I would LOVE to do a minor variation: is there any way the snowman mug can be flipped around like a mirror imagage on Label 2? I would like to fold the label over the top of a zip bag filled with the various components. (I don’t know if I’m explaining this correctly!) Thank you so much for this adorable project!

  3. These are adorable! I was wondering if there was any way for us to edit the text ourselves? I am making hot chocolate jars for family for Christmas but wanted to do bigger jars and tell them to use 4 tbsp per cup of milk. Either way thanks for the free labels!
