Easter with Cricut

CarrotInvite2

Happy Tuesday Friends! I have some fun news to share today along with a new project I have been working on!! You ready?? I have partnered with my awesome friends at Cricut to work on a variety of Print & Cut designs throughout this year!! I will share more details on our super fun collaboration soon, but I couldn’t hold out any longer to share our Easter Designs!!

I don’t think I will ever outgrow my love for scallops, and there simply isn’t a better time of year for that sweet design element than Easter!! I used my hand illustrated carrots and bunnies for the designs and I just don’t think they could get any sweeter!

First up is the Egg Hunt / Easter Brunch Invite ! The invite is 5″x5″ so whether you tie it up with twine and put it in an envelope or put it in a little box filled with easter grass, it’s the perfect way to set the tone for family and friends!

CarrotFlags1

Second, I created these little fold over flags!  They are scalloped perfectly and you can use them for so many things… use them like I did to add character to your straws, or put them on top of a lollipop stick to make cupcake toppers! You could even wrap them around disposable silverware, and place it into an easter basket for your guests!

Next up we have round stickers! I love these as I used the Text tool right in the circuit design space to personalize the stickers with kids initials! This southern heart loves when I can “monogram” something!

CarrotBagTopper2

For a special take home treat, put a little something egggg-stra special in a few eggs, place them in a baggy, and add this Favor Bag topper right on top! The bag topper perfectly fits standard sandwich bags!

EasterBasketTags

Finally, I created sweet scalloped basket tags to hang on each basket before the egg hunt! Simply type in the child’s name and add a little twine to tie the tags with and you are ready to hop to it!

I hope you all are as excited as I am to follow along with the Cricut projects I will have coming throughout this year! I already have at least 5 coming soon!! YAY!!!

  1. Love the Easter Brunch invites! I am contemplating an Explore Air purchase and looking to check out what I can do with it. I think that I have a lot to learn!!! Are these printed on a printer and then placed on the cutting mat?

  2. Yes Jeanne! That’s exactly what you do! I use my home printer (which is a regular office printer) to print the designs, and it automatically adds the sensor marks that the circuit reads, so once I place my printed design on the mat, the Cricut does all of the work!!

  3. Love your Easter collection! Question regarding the Straw Flags. Which size label sticker paper did you use? The Cricut website, I find it to be not beginner user friendly. The description only says to use label sticker paper

  4. I tried to make the labels with children’s names and it cut their name overtop of where it was printed. How did you go around this function?
