Fourth of July Crafts

July4thWrap2

The Fourth of July is right around the corner, so it’s time to start decking the halls… or the mason jars as we do around here in the summer! I worked with Cricut to create three print and cut designs for you and I hope you are as excited as I am about them… I mean cut out stars! <3

I started with designing jar wraps and I used them for every single jar I could get my hands on!! The original idea for these jar wraps with star cut outs was so that I could make mason jar votives and the light would shine through the stars, but I then moved on to a lot of other jars and a lot of fun! I created a favor jar with red gum balls a far I used for a vase, and my votives! Create another one filled with shells and sand for a beach side soiree! Combine different sizes to make table a great centerpiece!

Next up, I created party circles! I have said it so many times, but it doesn’t get old, so I will say it again, party circles are the most versatile party design! I LOVE THEM!! Use them for cupcake toppers, to add to the front of napkin rings, as stickers on favors, or even strung together like mini banners! However you use them, they are just stinking cute! I created these cut out circles for this patriotic holiday, and I am using them everywhere!

Last but not least, home decor! Yay! I have a throw pillow problem… like I can’t stop buying them. Seriously. And you know what isn’t great… they aren’t cheap! I just think it’s such a simple and classy way to add a little holiday decor without a lot of knick knacks to dust, right? Well, I was so excited about this pillow iron on, because it meant I had a new holiday pillow for less than $15! I found this throw pillow at Target in the crafting section and the rustic feel of it was perfect for this summer time holiday! I created the Flag iron on and simply printed it out and laid it onto the pillow, then I placed a cloth over it and ironed at medium heat. Finally I tossed it onto my couch and thought “Darn, that’s awesome”. (just being honest! hehe)
